[rboyd](https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/blog/author/rboyd) May 10, 2023, 7:46:07 AM ![](https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Steve_and_fam.jpg) As you can see from our 1st quarter newsletter, SSS is blessed to be busy.  As the leader of SSS, I find that it can be easy for me during the day to day “busyness” to lose sight of my priorities in leading this great team.  Are my motives selfish in nature? Am I leading because I want praise? Or am I leading to serve my team by striving to provide benefits for those that work with me each day? Do I ever place their needs ahead of mine? I am grateful for the reminders of why I work, and the responsibility I have been blessed with to help as many people as I can, with the opportunities I am granted.  [Blog](https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/blog/tag/blog) ## Related Posts ### [Jul 3, 2023, 10:33:53 AM 2023 1st & 2nd Quarter Anniversaries - Shannon Staley and Sons](https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/blog/2023/07/2023-1st-2nd-quarter-anniversaries) ### [Jul 10, 2023, 9:53:49 AM Turning The Heat Up - Shannon Staley and Sons](https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/blog/2023/07/turning-the-heat-up) ### [Mar 6, 2024, 3:53:57 AM Perfect Completion of a Difficult Job - Shannon Staley and Sons](https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/blog/2024/03/perfect-completion-of-a-difficult-job) ![Shannon Staley & Sons Favicon](https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/hubfs/Shannon%20Staley%20%26%20Sons%20Favicon.png) Shannon Staley & Sons is the reliable solution for homeowners, real estate investors, property managers, and home builders seeking remodeling, home building, or construction services in Pittsburgh and the surrounding area. - Quick Links - [Cost Calculator](https://fieldingcreative.outgrow.us/pittsburgh-remodeling-cost-calculator) - [About Us](https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/about) - [Process](https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/process) - [Gallery](https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/portfolio) - [Contact Us](https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/contact) - [Services](https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/services) - [Home Remodeling](https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/home-remodeling) - [Home Additions](https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/additions) - [Home Building](https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/home-building) - [Kitchen Remodeling](https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/kitchen-remodeling) - [Bathroom Remodeling](https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/bathroom-remodeling) - Markets - [Homeowners](https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/homeowners) - [Home Builders](https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/home-builders) - [Real Estate Investors](https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/real-estate-investors) - [Property Managers](https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/property-managers) © 2026 All rights reserved | [Privacy Policy](https://45132783.hs-sites.com/privacy-policy) | | [Terms & Conditions](https://45132783.hs-sites.com/terms-and-conditions) Developed by [GiantFocal](https://www.giantfocal.com) ```json { "@context" : "https://schema.org", "@type" : "BlogPosting", "author" : { "@type" : "Person", "name" : "rboyd", "url" : "https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/blog/author/rboyd" }, "dateModified" : "2024-03-21T19:40:55.265Z", "datePublished" : "2023-05-10T11:46:07.000Z", "headline" : "What Are We Working For? - Shannon Staley and Sons", "image" : [ "https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Steve_and_fam.jpg" ], "mainEntityOfPage" : { "@id" : "https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/blog/2023/05/what-are-we-working-for", "@type" : "WebPage" }, "publisher" : { "@type" : "Organization", "logo" : { "@type" : "ImageObject", "url" : "https://www.shannonstaleyandsons.com/hubfs/Shannon%20Staley%20&%20Sons%20Website%20Logo.png" } } } ```
